Eveoke Dance Theatre receives $32,000 for REFUGE in the Arts from The San Diego Women’s Foundation for the 2011/2012 Arts and Culture Cycle.
Eveoke is honored to be partnering with SDWF once again to create transformational arts education and performance programming that will engage youth to create a touring school assembly show addressing “cycles of violence” as well as dance-based community service projects. REFUGE in the Arts will include intensive dance training, mentorship, free family programming, and meaningful interaction with community leaders who are addressing violence in multiple contexts.
