Introducing Eveoke’s DanceScape Choreography Program!

DanceScape is designed to introduce dancers to various choreographic tools to generate and create original dance composition.  In tune with Eveoke’s mission, this program will not just focus on the creation of movement but also the creation of thoughtful artists; creating work relevant to themselves personally or externally.   Students will learn and explore through improvisations, movement assignments, class discussions, journal writing, field trips to see professional companies in San Diego, and the completion of a final piece to be presented at the end of year DanceScape Showcase.  The goal of Eveoke Dance Theatre’s DanceScape Choreography Program is to develop a well rounded dancer: Artistically, Technically, and Socially.

Applications are being accepted for the 2012/2013 program year.

Step 1 – Review the program requirements and fill out and return a DanceScape application.
